    Arrive at Veer Savarkar International Airport - Port Blair, where you are met and transferred to your hotel in Port Blair. Check in and settle in. Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, is home to the Cellular Jail, the colonial-era prison that is now a national memorial to India's freedom fighters.

    Port Blair - Ross Island North Bay - Port Blair

    Today's plan: Port Blair - Ross Island North Bay - Port Blair. Ross Island (now Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep) was the British administrative headquarters of the islands; its ruined church, bakery and officers' quarters are slowly being reclaimed by giant tree roots, and deer and peacocks wander freely. North Bay Island, opposite Port Blair, is known for its clear water, coral reefs and lighthouse, and is a popular spot for glass-bottom boat rides and snorkelling.
